2021 John Deere S790

The 2021 John Deere S790 is a top-tier combine harvester in John Deere's S700 series, designed for large-scale, high-performance harvesting with emphasis on automation, efficiency, and operator comfort.

The engine is a John Deere PowerTech™ 13.6L (830 cu in) 6-cylinder Final Tier 4 (FT4) diesel rated at 543 hp (405 kW) at 2000 rpm. Maximum power reaches 617 hp (460 kW) with a 50 hp Power Boost. Fuel capacity is 330 gallons (1250 L).

The TriStream™ Rotor features a tapered front and spiral vanes for smooth, consistent crop flow and reduced growling in heavy crops. Rotor diameter is 30 inches, length 123 inches, speed range 210–1000 rpm. Active Concave Isolation enhances capacity in tough conditions.

The DynaFlo™ Plus Cleaning Shoe is 12% larger than previous models, with a total louvered area of 63.5 sq ft (5.9 m²) and fan speed range of 620–1350 rpm. Grain tank capacity is 400 bushels with power folding covers and a peak unloading rate of 4.2 bu/sec.
