2021 John Deere 560M

The 2021 John Deere 560M is a popular and versatile round baler known for reliability and efficiency in producing high-quality 5×6 foot bales. Part of John Deere's M-series, it offers a balance of performance, features, and value for a wide range of hay and forage operations.

The variable chamber produces bales 5 feet wide (61.5 inches) with diameter adjustable from 36 to 72 inches. Bale weight typically ranges from 1,000 to over 2,000 lbs depending on crop and moisture. The 8-belt system uses John Deere's exclusive DiamondTough™ triple-weave belts for durability and minimal crop loss. Hydraulic density control allows in-cab adjustment of bale firmness.

The MegaWide™ Plus Pickup features a 71-inch flare width to efficiently gather large, wide, or windblown windrows. MegaTough™ Pickup Teeth provide greater strength at the ends for high-impact loads. A patented self-adjusting Roller Baffle prevents plugging for increased ground speed, while the Spiral Rotor Feed System ensures even crop flow and reduces loading on the rotor. Semi-pneumatic gauge wheels require no air pressure maintenance.

Wrapping options include Surface Wrap Only or Both Twine and Surface Wrap with CoverEdge™ for full bale coverage and reduced spoilage. The BaleTrak™ Pro Monitor-Controller provides in-cab bale shape indicators, density settings, and wrap activation.

Requires 1000 RPM PTO (1-3/8" or 1-3/4" shaft) and approximately 80–90 PTO HP. Optional features include Bale Push Bar, silage high-moisture kit, moisture sensor, and rear light kit.
