Description
The 2019 Case IH 4412 is a high-performance 12-row corn head designed to maximize efficiency and grain savings during corn harvest, specifically engineered to complement Case IH Axial-Flow combines. It builds on previous models with enhancements focused on durability, speed, and residue management.
Available in 30-inch, 20-inch, and 22-inch row spacings. The folding 4412F configuration allows folding for narrow road transport without detaching from the combine, significantly reducing transport time. Compatible with Case IH Axial-Flow combines including the 10, 20, 230, 240, and 250 series.
Point-to-point knife-type stalk rolls feature four knives per roll for aggressive stalk processing across a wide range of diameters and conditions. Hydraulically Adjusted Deck Plates allow in-cab optimization for different ear sizes and moisture conditions. Optional integrated rotary-knife stalk choppers with separate drivelines handle residue management without additional field passes.
Heavy-duty gathering chains with large open-front sprockets pull in down corn effectively. Patented Corn Louvers™ direct loose kernels and ears back into the head for maximum grain savings. New poly dividers are hinged and floating with gas strut assist for easy one-hand opening and quick cleaning access. The large 15.75-inch (400 mm) cross auger with 19.7-inch (500 mm) pitch provides gentle yet high-capacity feeding.
Optional flip-up tall-corn attachments handle high stands. Lightweight design claims up to 2,000 lbs lighter than competitive models for reduced compaction. Radial pin slip clutch protection on drive lines. Optional AFS RowGuide™ automated row guidance system.
