The 2011 Case IH Patriot 3230 self-propelled sprayer features Case IH's signature "cab-forward, rear-engine" design that provides balanced weight distribution and a smooth ride. Designed for efficient and precise application of crop protection products.

Powered by a Case IH FPT 6.7-liter (411 cu in) 6-cylinder Tier 3 diesel rated at approximately 220 hp (164 kW) with a peak of 240 hp (179 kW). Full-time 4WD hydrostatic drive provides infinitely variable speed control. Mechanical power transfer to the wheels delivers fuel efficiency and direct power to the ground. Max transport speed is 30 mph (48 kph).

The standard 800-gallon (3,028 L) solution tank is typically stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. Convenient front-fill location with chemical eductor system for safe mixing.

The 90-foot boom features 5 or 6 sections with 20-inch nozzle spacing. Parallel-link design provides over 5 feet of motion range for various crop heights from pre-plant to post-tassel. Boom breakaway protection and hydraulic boom leveling.

Cab-forward, rear-engine design maintains 50/50 weight distribution loaded and empty, reducing pitching motion. Full independent suspension on both axles with air bags and shocks — approximately 11 inches total travel. Crop clearance approximately 52 inches. Hydraulic tread width adjustment from 120 to 157 inches from the cab. Standard 380/90R46 tires.
