2012 John Deere 9560R

The 2012 John Deere 9560R is a high-horsepower articulated 4WD tractor designed for the most demanding agricultural applications, particularly large-scale tillage, planting, and pulling heavy implements. A flagship model in John Deere's R-Series articulated tractors.

Powered by a John Deere PowerTech™ PSX 13.5-liter (824 cu in) 6-cylinder diesel meeting Interim Tier 4 (IT4)/Stage 3b emissions via variable geometry turbocharger and air-to-air aftercooling. Gross engine power is rated at 560 hp (417.6 kW), with Nebraska Test results showing maximum engine power of 552.6 hp at 2100 RPM. Electronic power management provides different power levels by gear to protect the drivetrain. Fuel capacity is approximately 300 gallons (1,135 L).

The 18-speed e18 PowerShift™ with Efficiency Manager offers 18 forward and 6 reverse speeds with seamless on-the-go shifting. Efficiency Manager automatically adjusts engine RPM and gear to maintain set ground speed while optimizing fuel efficiency.

The closed-center PFC hydraulic system delivers 58 gpm (220 lpm) standard, or 78 gpm (295 lpm) with popular High-Flow option — essential for large demanding implements. Equipped with 5 deluxe electro-hydraulic rear SCVs. Independent rear PTO at 1000 RPM (1-3/4" shaft). Heavy-duty Category 5 drawbar standard; 3-point hitch optional.
